Full Potential
Your kitchen and bathroom cabinets see a lot of wear and tear. They’re opened and closed a lot and they also live very close to the enemy: Water. Water can severely damage your cabinets if care is not taken to keep their surface dry and clean at all times. Here’s how to do it:
- To clean, gently wipe the surface with a damp sponge or non-abrasive cloth. Gently. And if needed, use only a very mild detergent. Avoid bleach and ammonia-based cleaners. The covering on the outside of your cabinets is delicate and can be torn easily, allowing water to get beneath.
- Remove any excess moisture on your cabinets as soon as possible—do not allow the surface to remain wet, or you’ll risk permanent damage.
Pretty simple. Keep your cabinets dry and clean, always handle them with care and they’ll stay looking newer, longer.
